NEW YORK - If you haven't had your fill of fashion-themed television; if the drama of competing models, competing designers or Angelinos taking Miami, leaves you wanting for more, check out MTV’s new fashion inspired series, “House of Jazmin.” It premiered on August 18 (10:30pm ET/PT), and it follows the life of Jazmin Whitley, a 20 year-old fashion designer who is trying to balance life as a young adult while juggling the duties of a growing fashion brand. Oh… and it’s set in New York.
Jasmin’s journey surrounds her struggle to incubate her clothing line, Li Cari. Jasmin is not alone in her quest: Susan, her Mom/manager is a tough personality trying to balance her roles as mother and financier of the emerging fashion line.
Along the way, you get to meet Joey, Jazmin’s little brother a pint size paparazzi who takes all the photos for Jazmin’s shows and other red carpet events. Morgan, Jazmin’s best friend proves to be the big sister that Jazmin never had.
